Am Ball

Das gesamte Projekt habe ich über einen Zeitraum von etwa zwei Jahren entwickelt und in verschiedenen Medien umgesetzt; letztlich umfasst „Am Ball/In Touch“ einen Text, zwei Fußball-Performances und die jeweilige Fotodokumentation, eine Katalogbroschüre, ein Modellobjekt und ein rotierbares Tafelbild.

Für den Katalog der „Reise zu den Quellen“ konnte ich dann den Einreichungstext, natürlich nun aus der Perspektive des schon Geschehenen (also mit modifizierter Erzählzeit), und die Fotos der Matches beitragen.

Im Folgenden - leicht angepasst - dieser Einreichungstext, wie er als Projektbericht abgedruckt war.

 

The whole project was developed over a time-span of about two years, and realised in a number of different media; in total, “Am Ball / in Touch” encompasses one text, two football performances and their respective photographic documentation, a catalogue brochure, one maquette and one image on a rotating canvas.

For the catalogue to “journey to the source”, I contributed the original application text (with the tenses of course adapted to the new perspective of the event having taken place), and photographs of the matches.

The following is the application text, slightly adapted, in the version that was printed as a project report.
