Stufen I + II

Stiegenhäuser sind ein idealer Ort zur Präsentation der Rasterarbeiten, weil der/die BetrachterIn dort zu horizontaler und vertikaler Bewegung gezwungen sind, - die Bewegung im Bild damit am stärksten.

Die Präsentation meiner Diplomarbeit fand folglich auch im Stiegenhaus der Angewandten statt.

„Stufen I + II“ sind ebenfalls ein Teil davon, dabei sind die Proportionen der Stufen in Streifen und Flächen auf beide Rasterschichten verteilt. Beim vorübergehen verschieben sich diese gegeneinander, die Proportionen und Farben der Stufen verändern sich.

Stairs I + II

Stairwells are the ideal place for the presentation of raster-works, because the observer is forced into horizontal and vertical movement, and the movement in the picture is therefore at its most pronounced.

Consequently, the presentation of my thesis was held in the inwell at the university. “Stair I + II” are also a part of it, where the proportions of the stairs are distributed in strips and surfaces on both raster layers. As the observer moves past, they shift against each other, and the proportions and colors of the steps are transformed.
